48 year old Man has been fooled by a Fake Online Girlfriend

A 48-year-old man in Naperville, Illinois has been fooled by an fake online girlfriend. They apparently had a two-years and six-months relationship. The said man called the police station and have reported that he feared that his online girlfriend of 2 and half years had been kidnapped.


Police officers discovered and informed the 48-year-old man that her girlfriend didn't even exist and that the drivers license photo "she" had shown him in the past was just a photo likely from a sample Florida license.

The broken-hearted man told the police he had sent $200,000 to his so called "online girlfriend" during their relationship to different bank accounts in Nigeria, Malaysia, England and in the United States.

Four HTC Smartphones to get Android 2.3 Gingerbread

Android 2.3 Gingerbread will definitely bring off four HTC devices such as HTC Desire HD, HTC Desire Z, HTC Desire and the HTC Incredible S. According to HTC spokesperson, the OS updates scheduled will be on early of second quarter this year so that means from April or June.

We all know that the Motorola's most anticipated tablet that run Android Honey comb has been out in the market since Thursday, but it might be face out of the shelves as the California-based money transfer company, Xoom Corp. has filed a lawsuit against Motorola this week California District Court, for trademark transgression, for which the Xoom.com has been claiming that they have the rights to the Xoom name.

Xoom Corp., which operates a money-transfer business, claiming that their registered the xoom.com domain name in year 2003, and they have been registered the Xoom trademark on December 14, 2004, stated in the lawsuit. Motorola then has filed an "intent-to-use" application of its own on last year 26th of October.

The Xoom Corp. has also accused Motorola in purchasing the "Xoom" keyword in search engines, so when you search for the word "Xoom" on Google.com, the official page of Motorola Xoom will put it on the top of the results. I actually tried to search for the "Xoom" into Google.com, it shows that Motorola Xoom is in the sponsored links section at the top of organic search engine results, and Xoom.com remains at the first organic search results.

Sony Cut Down $40 of PSP's retail Price

Sony PlayStation have recently released and statement regarding their most anticipated PlayStation Portable device, that it will be dropping its price by $40 to $129.99 from its regular price of $169.99. It was almost twenty-five percent off that brings the PSP at the similar retail price level of Nintendo DS Lite portable gaming console.

Microsoft unleashes SP1 for Windows 7 and Win 2008 R2

Apple's iPad 2 First Public Appearance Event

Apple is reportedly set to reveal a March 2, 2011 happenings, at which Apple will finally expose the new iPad 2. AllThingsD reported that the unveiling of iPad 2 would take place at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco.

The iPad 2 is assumed to be skinny and have a retina resolution display which is a quite better the the old one and of course it packs with front facing camera for facetime and rear-facing cameras for HD video recording.

The Apple's iPad 2 is powered by a Qualcomm's dual mode CDMA/GSM chipset to make this device work with both AT&T and Verizon's networks.

Apple is expected to send out invitations a week before the event. The iPad 2 might also come with Apple A5 chip which will make it faster than its successor.
